At Silver Pines, we firmly believe it’s crucial to have welcoming and inclusive LGBTQIA+ substance abuse treatment. Feeling supported and comfortable is a vital part of the recovery and healing processes. Silver Pines offers the below treatment at our LGBTQIA+ rehab centers.
Silver Pines is a member of the Health Equality Index which means we have LGBTQIA+ visibility in our treatment center, making our clients feel comfortable to be themselves. This helps break down the barriers for individuals who are questioning their sexuality and gender identity to focus on their substance abuse and mental health treatment. At our LGBTQIA+ addiction treatment center, all staff has continuous education on how we can best help members of the LGBTQIA+ community recover from their addictions. Silver Pines participates in a minimum of 30 hours of training for all staff per year. These trainings include:
  • Gender-affirming care training
  • Inclusion training
  • LGBTQIA+ cultural and competent care training
  • LGBTQIA+ healthcare training and education

Silver Pines offers addiction treatment to individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, including LGBTQIA+ affirming housing, clinical groups, and access to trained and supportive staff members who focus on advocacy and assistance with community resources. At our LGBTQIA+ rehab centers, we offer a detox program followed by LGBTQIA+ residential addiction treatment, as well as a robust Family Program and an active Alumni Program.
