The Silver Pines Alum Program

After treatment at Silver Pines, you’ll be part of our Alum Program, where you can build upon your recovery. Moreover, this is extremely important because it not only helps with supporting you, but you’ll also be supporting others. One of the beautiful parts about recovery from active addiction is that you find meaning and purpose in life. In addition, a big part of this new purpose is helping others on the same path.

Our dedicated addiction treatment Alum Coordinator orients every new client upon admission, and is an available resource during treatment, and continues support after discharge in our alumni aftercare program. We also extend our Alum Program to family members.

Alum Program for Relapse Prevention

During treatment, you’re in a bubble during which your entire day revolves around different strategies for staying clean. While many of these new coping skills will involve behavioral therapy and rewiring the way you respond, it can be difficult once you leave treatment. Some of the most difficult situations people deal with once they leave treatment can involve family, significant others, friends, work, and finances.

By participating in our rehab Alum Program, you’ll continue to have people around who can be your support network, helping you face these situations. Additionally, it’s highly effective to talk to others who are in early recovery and can share their experience so you can avoid relapsing.
